Stephan Katmarian guitar
Stephan is a jazz composer and guitarist. He brings a sophisticated inside/outside style to a post bop sensibility. He has had a successful career in venture capital both founding and funding several technology and mining companies. He is based in Toronto and is also the principal and founding member of the blues band Wolf Dimension.
Mark Zubek bass
Mark Zubek’s songwriting, production, performance and recording credits include Grammy-winning jazz singer Betty Carter (Verve/Polygram), Blaise Pascal (BMG), Alexander, Hilary Weaver and Alex Galli, Jen Chapin, Karen Jacobsen, Roux , Sarah Lentz (NYC), New York jazz musicians Wynton Marsalis, Jack DeJohnette, Dave Holland, Victor Lewis, Seamus Blake, Mark Turner, Chris Cheek, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Brian Blade, Avishai Cohen, Jerry Marotta, and Tony Levin. Mark grew up in Toronto , and at 18, moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music.
Jesse Capon drums
For the past 12 years Jesse Capon has been based out of Toronto. He has had the good fortune to work with many luminaries on the Canadian and international music scene, in numerous genres. On top of his music and event production duties live and in his studio, The Magnolia, he teaches, records and mixes music for an ever growing and diversifying client base.
Bryden Baird trumpet
Bryden currently tours the world with the indie-pop chanteuse Feist and has a busy studio career in Toronto, Canada. He studied jazz trumpet at Humber College, University of Toronto, Banff Centre for the Arts with Kenny Wheeler, and privately with Laurie Frink in NYC. Television appearances have included The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, and BBC and CBC radio. He has performed with Michael Buble, the Temptations, Kris Kristofferson, Louie Bellson, Blue Rodeo, the Toronto Symphony, Esthero and Sean Lennon.
